Colonized grain spawn plus a bag of CVG substrate. There's no sterile work for you to do — you break the spawn into the substrate and manage humidity and air. All-in-one bags are the other beginner route, but all four are sold out at the moment.
Liquid culture is live mycelium in nutrient broth — you inject it into sterilized grain yourself through a self-healing port. Grain spawn is that step already done and fully colonized, ready to break up and mix into bulk.
