Multi-store books · Live at teambooks.app

TeamBooks

Run every store's books from one dashboard — inventory, expenses with approval routing, payroll, per-store margins.

The story

Operators running multiple storefronts end up with their numbers scattered across spreadsheets, POS exports, and a shoebox of receipts — no single view of whether any location is actually making money. TeamBooks pulls it all into one dashboard: inventory, expense tracking with approval routing, payroll, and order + payment processing, with profit-margin visibility per store.

Role-based access keeps admins, managers, and drivers in their lane. WooCommerce sync ingests external products and orders automatically, and Free / Pro / Enterprise tiers scope what each store can use — Free is one store and one seat.

Where it actually is. It's a login-gated operations app, so it's deliberately not built for search — the marketing surface is thin on purpose while the product does the work.

What it does

In plain words.

Accounting, inventory and expense management for multi-store businesses: profit-margin tracking and operational control from one dashboard, with admin, manager and driver roles.

The first five minutes

What you actually do first.

  1. 01Start free with no card; the first screen is your real revenue, COGS, overhead and profit — all zero until you add what you sell.
  2. 02A nine-step tour walks store, inventory, orders, expenses, WooCommerce, team, payables and dashboard once your first store exists.
  3. 03Record a quick sale and watch stock move: product on hand, quick sale, full order from pending to completed.

The value · before and after

What changes for you.

  • Before

Numbers scattered across spreadsheets, POS exports and a shoebox of receipts.

    After

Every order carries its stock trail — minus 28, 350 to 322 left — and only completed orders deduct stock.

  • Before

A WooCommerce store whose orders live somewhere else.

    After

Sync pulls the store in: a real sync imported 3,808 orders and 8 payment methods for one store.

  • Before

    Payroll on a napkin.

    After

Employees and payroll runs as two real entities, live since July.

Why it is worth it

Versus doing nothing.

  • A books start date and editable opening balances mean you can start clean without re-keying history.
  • Every change is in an activity log with a field-level old-to-new diff.

Straight answers

What it does not do.

  • Free is one store and one seat; expenses, approvals, employees and payroll are Pro.
  • Paid plans cannot be bought in-app yet — billing is not switched on.
  • Multi-location is not started.
