/ what it does

WooCommerce's built-in reports tell you what you sold last month. They don't tell you who's gone quiet, which products are actually selling vs. just stocked-out, or which categories pull people back in. You're guessing what to restock, who to win back, and which products to bundle. Deep eCommerce Insights replaces the guessing with inactive-customer detection, stock-normalized true demand, a top-sellers reorder list, and a category cross-sell matrix built from your actual order data. The free tier alone gives you the dashboard WooCommerce should have shipped with.

/ who it's for

If any of these sound like you

WooCommerce stores doing $50k+/month

You've outgrown WooCommerce's default reports. You're exporting CSVs into Google Sheets every Monday morning trying to figure out who's churning and which products are actually printing money. Stop doing that. Get the same view inside wp-admin in one click.

Inventory-heavy stores running on guesswork

You can't tell if a product sold zero because nobody wanted it or because you were stocked-out for two weeks. True Demand normalizes for stock-outs, so your restock orders are based on actual demand, not the sales report's blind spots.

Consumables, subscriptions, and restock-driven shops

Coffee, supplements, vape carts, refills — your business lives or dies on repeat orders. Inactive-customer detection surfaces customers with no paid order in 45 days, so you can win them back with email instead of with a discount on Black Friday.

Agencies managing multiple WooCommerce shops

Five client shops, five wp-admin dashboards, five Mondays spent assembling the same reports. The 5-site and Agency tiers give every store the analytics WooCommerce can't — and let you walk into client calls with the answers, not the questions.

What's in the box

Everything in the free column works on its own — install it and you're done. The pro column is an optional upgrade for power users; you never need it to use the plugin.

Pro adds (optional)

an upgrade, not a gate

  • Inactive-customer detection (churn radar)
Flags customers with no paid order in the last 45 days and the products from their final order, so you can win them back with email. This is a 45-day lagging detector, not a predictive cadence-slip model.
  • True demand (stock-normalized)
Adjusts sales velocity for stock-outs so you can tell 'no one wanted it' from 'we ran out for two weeks.' Critical for restock decisions.
  • Top sellers reorder list
Ranks your best-selling products over the last 14 days and shows current stock next to each, so you know what to reorder first. A best-sellers-plus-stock view, not a forecasting model (no lead-time or seasonality inputs).
  • Category intelligence
Which categories drive repeat buyers, which are gateway purchases, which are dead weight. Behavioral, not just revenue-based.
  • Category cross-sell matrix
Which product categories are bought after which, ordered by first appearance. Directional and category-level (not product-level market-basket co-occurrence). Guides bundles and category-page positioning.
  • Category-level loyalty scoring
A 0-100 loyalty score per product category, weighted by repeat rate and cross-category pull. Category-level only — not a per-customer RFM score.
  • God mode + advanced backfill
Run analytics on your full historical order data, not just recent. Backfill engine handles years of orders without timing out.

Common questions

Does this require WooCommerce? +
Yes. Every metric in this plugin is computed from WooCommerce orders, customers, products, and categories. A non-WC site has nothing to analyze.
How is this different from WooCommerce's built-in reports? +
WooCommerce reports tell you what happened. Deep Insights turns that history into decisions — what to reorder, who's gone quiet, and which categories pull people back. The free version gives you the cleaner trend snapshot and repeat-buyer view that WC should ship with. Pro adds the analyses WC's reports straight up don't compute: inactive-customer detection (customers with no paid order in 45+ days), true demand (stock-normalized velocity so you don't confuse stockouts with low demand), a top-sellers reorder list, a category cross-sell matrix, and category-level loyalty scoring.
What is "true demand" and why does it matter? +
WooCommerce's velocity reports show units sold per day. If you stocked out for two weeks, those days show 0 sales — and the report concludes the product has weak demand. True demand normalizes for stockouts, so a product that sold every single unit on every day it was available shows up as **high demand, supply-constrained**, not weak. This is the single most common reason stores under-restock their actual hits.
How does the Top Sellers Reorder list work? +
It ranks your products by units sold over the last 14 days and shows each one's current stock level next to it, so you can see what's moving fastest and reorder those first. It's a straightforward best-sellers-plus-stock view — no black box, no forecasting model. (A demand-forecasting model that factors in lead time and seasonality is on our roadmap, not in the current release.)
How does the license work? +
Pro licenses are per site activation. The 1-Site tier covers one production store. The 5-Site tier covers up to five. Agency Unlimited is unlimited activations under one license. License checks run against bigbad.agency over HTTPS with a 24-hour cache, fail-closed on hard errors. If our license server has an outage, your store keeps running normally — only the pro analytics features pause until the cache or check refreshes.
Can I switch tiers later? +
Yes. Upgrade from 1-Site to 5-Site or Agency at any time — pay only the difference for the rest of your billing period.
Will it slow down my store? +
No. Heavy analytics queries run on background cron jobs and write to optimized snapshot tables. The dashboard reads from those snapshots — it never blocks a customer-facing page or a checkout. Pro adds an advanced backfill engine specifically so historical recomputes don't time out.
Can I run it on a store with years of order history? +
Yes. Pro's "advanced backfill" runs the historical recompute in chunked batches and resumes on failure. Free version computes recent windows only — it won't touch your full order history out of the box.
Where do I get support? +
Free version: WordPress.org plugin support forum. Pro: email **support@bigbad.agency** with your license key.
